About The Work
These photos were taken over four trips to Cuba between 2016 and 2019. My original concept was to visit Cuba once a year for ten years to take pictures. Each year, twenty five to forty photographs were to be chosen and included in the final collection. However, after the fourth trip, the global pandemic forced me to change my plans.
My goal has always been to collect and present artistic photographs that show Cuba as I saw it at this unique point in history. I’m still doing that, but the format has changed.
Since travel is no longer an option, I’ve decided to present the photos that would have been the first four installments in the collection along with lots of other photographs that I took along the way.
I’m still in the process of choosing, editing, and adding new photos to the collection.
So, this is the collection as it stands today. I hope you find something you like.
Also, you might want to check back every once in awhile. As I said, I’m adding new photos on a regular basis as they become ready.
